Fangelica VanBat is a young vampire princess from Transylvania who lived alone for centuries until joining Monster High with the Ghoul Squad.
Fangelica VanBat is a 2017-introduced and all-around character. She's an only-child and the youngest member of the royal VanBat Family of Transylvania. As a consequence of the Great Monster Fright Flight, Fangelica has lived alone in VanBats' castle for centuries until the Ghoul Squad brought her over to Monster High (location) (G2). Too young to follow classes, she spends her time with friends and her new adoptive family: her big sister Draculaura (G2) and her father Dracula (G2). Being a little sister is a new experience, but it's having a positive effect on her social and emotional development.

Fangelica is a peppy young vampire separated from her parents, now adopted into Dracula's family and adjusting to life at Monster High.
Fangelica was born and raised in Transylvania as the only child to the reigning branch of the VanBats, a royal vampire family. Like many children finding asylum at Monster High (location) (G2), she has become separated from her parents due to human hostility and whether they are still alive or not is unknown. She has since been living alone in VanBats' castle, which is packed with booby-traps to ensure her safety.
Her centuries of living alone in hiding have made Fangelica cautious, but they did not affect her peppy disposition. The moment she felt she could trust the Ghoul Squad because she saw Draculaura (G2), a fellow vampire, and Clawdeen Wolf (G2), a werewolf, perform the secret vampire handshake, she agreed to go with them to Monster High (location) (G2) to start a new life.
Back when she still lived in Transylvania, Fangelica wore elaborate gowns befitting her station as a princess. Over in the United States, she goes for more casual skirts and sandals.

Several centuries ago, Fangelica was born as the first and only child of the royal VanBat couple. They formed a happy family living a luxurious life in Transylvania until humans caused her parents to disappear. Their whereabouts are unknown, as is whether they are still alive. After several centuries alone, Fangelica moved to the United States, where she was adopted by Dracula (G2). She has taken readily to her new life and especially enjoys having Draculaura (G2) as an older sister.
Fangelica does not have a pet of her own, but upon being adopted shares Webby (G2) with Draculaura.
