Gillington "Gil" Webber is a 2016-introduced and all-around character. He is a river monster and a student at Monster High. For a long time, he was stranded alone on the salt water-surrounded island of Gunung Berapi. Like they did for so many others, the Ghoul Squad brought him over to the USA to attend Monster High. Gil is a laidback monster who finds peace in nature and meditation.

Gil has a background tied to Gunung Berapi, a laid-back personality, distinctive appearance, and water-based abilities.
Possibly of Japanese descent going by his The Great Wave off Kanagawa motif and his penchant for meditating, preferably in a zen garden with cherry tree, Gil somehow ended up alone on Gunung Berapi, a volcano island in Indonesia. Because the surrounding sea is salt water, Gil was unable to leave and instead made the most of his solitary island home.
Gil is laid-back and sensitive.
Gil has light blue scaled skin and spiky fins protruding from his neck, forearms, and legs. He has one big fin on the top of his head styled like a mohawk and flips over to one side. He has pale yellow eyes. He wears black sandals, grey jeans, a purple shirt, and a Monster High uniform jacket with a design resembling The Great Wave off Kanagawa at the ends of the sleeves.
He has the abilities of a water-based monster, being a true water monster, but most of them come from being all fish:
- Underwater Breathing and All-Around Water Breathing: Gil can do this easily since he is a water monster and has gills.
He has the typical skillset of any water-based monster:
- Surfing: Gil can handle a surfboard with equal grace on the waves as off a solid slope.

Gil is friends with Lagoona Blue and Treesa Thornwillow.
Gil got along well with Lagoona upon meeting her, as they are both water monsters with a sporty streak.
Treesa Thornwillow allows Gil to hang out in her Garden of Frights when he needs to get away from the hustle and bustle at Monster High to meditate in peace.
