Buddy is a gothic teenager who skateboards, initially bullies monsters but later befriends them.
Buddy is a gothic teenager with an interest in skateboarding. In the past, he often joined his friends, Raine (G3) and Blair (G3), in bullying Clawdeen Wolf (G3) (most likely out of peer pressure) and, later in the series, became a monster hunter, despite his fears and lack of interest.
At first it seems that Buddy, like his friends, has dark interests, such as communicating with ghosts and searching for monsters. Despite this, he’s not as into that stuff as his friends, even being scared of it most of the time, and prefers to do other things like skateboarding. He along with his friends bullied Clawdeen for her love of monsters (despite having similar interests), calling her "creeper", "weird" and mostly "Monster Girl". However, it is heavily implied that Buddy only joined in on bullying Clawdeen because his friends did so.
It's later revealed in the series that Buddy is actually a lot nicer and kind-hearted than his friends, befriending Barkimedes (G3) and keeping his identity as a werewolf a secret. Since then he's also befriended Clawdeen and a few of the students at Monster High.
He is a tall teenager with a gothic aesthetic. He has tanned skin, brown eyes, and dark blue hair with long bangs. He also has black polished nails and a piercing in his chin. He wears a black shirt with some rips, a black and white hoody with black and red-striped sleeves, grey jeans, and black sneakers.
