In the Monster High books, the Glitterati are five white lab rats with red eyes owned by Frankie Stein's father that are kept in the lab (or, as Frankie calls it, the "Fab"). When Frankie redecorates the lab as her bedroom, she covers each of the rats in glitter, dubbing them the "Glitterati".
